Royal Enfield has started deliveries of its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, in Bengaluru. Priced at Rs 2.79 lakh, ex-showroom, the Flying Flea C6 is also available under a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, bringing the initial purchase price down to Rs 1.99 lakh.

Powering the Flying Flea C6 is a 3.91 kWh battery pack paired with a permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 20.65 hp and 60 Nm of peak torque. Royal Enfield claims the electric motorcycle can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 115 kmph.The company has quoted an IDC-certified riding range of 154 km on a full charge. It rides on 19-inch wheels wrapped in narrow 90-section tyres and features a lightweight construction.In terms of equipment, the electric motorcycle comes loaded with features such as a 3.5-inch circular colour TFT display, five riding modes, adjustable regenerative braking, lean-sensitive traction control and dual-channel ABS. To support customers, Royal Enfield has established a dedicated hub-and-spoke service network across Bengaluru.
